Natural Geometry

For me there is a certain comfort in knowing that there is some intelligent design in the universe which we can see in nature.

  1. I feel the same way, Lori. Nature is the supreme artist that has no equal. As a wilderness canoeist I’ve spent my share of time marvelling at Nature’s perfect balance and symmetry.

Thank you for sharing. A lovely way to start my day.

  2. They are kind of like mandalas, aren’t they -or maybe mandalas are like them! I never looked at them like that before! I like the mass of cacti, like so many fuzzy pincushions best. Pity they aren’t as soft as they look, the little stinkers. Thank you for the lovely photos, Lori. These are neat.

  3. Cacti are awesome, living in the middle of the desert, if I want to see cacti, I go for a walk. The desert may never be ‘Home’ to me, but I am always in awe of the tenacity of life in a desert.

I never cease to be amazed that cacti were undersea sponges and they adapted instead of died when the water ran out.

Thank you for reminding me of the nature of Nature.

    Hugs and kisses,
