Affirmation: Compassion

“Compassion”

Compassion is a like a brilliant jewel emanating green light from deep within. From compassion comes kindness, friendship, and love. It is where selflessness dwells. The light of compassion, though, is tricky to handle. Give too much and we are soon exhausted; give too little and we shrivel up and die. In today’s meditation, examine this area of your life. Are you holding in too much and becoming selfish and self-absorbed? Are you losing the blessing that comes from giving of yourself? Are you being emotionally drained because others take advantage of your love and compassion? Are you giving too much? If you have achieved balance in this area, then affirm today that you will keep that balance. Treasure it like you would a precious jewel.

Lori, your meditation series gets better and better. The image is wonderful; that shade of green is a color I see as healing. Thank you for putting this together and sharing it.

Green is such a psychologically uplifting color, and this image with its varying shades of green is just that. Compassion flourishes when the psyche is uplifted…Great piece, Lori

Vivacious jewel of the heart! You should see a jeweler about making this into a pendant. It’s stunning!

Juicy in both image and message. What a rich green matched with a vivid message. Thank you for doing this for all who meditate.
