Affirmation: Standing Firm
“Resolution”
Today we become SELF-conscious. We focus on that part of ourselves that embodies our egos. A person with a healthy ego is confident and stands firm on principles. She doggedly holds on to her ambitions, digging in and doing what is needed to achieve the goal. It is not a coincidence that such terms as “gutsy” and “backbone” have come to signify the resolute personality. It manifests itself from the deepest parts of the being and emanates like yellow light into the world. As you ponder the character “Resolute”, think about your ambitions. What do you want? Are you confident? Are you standing firm on your principles? Take a few minutes to quiet your mind and ponder.

Comment by kvwordsmith March 23, 2008 @ 5:21 pmThe sunny yellow color really helps bring the message across. And the repetition makes the idea come deep into a meditation.
